Seeing is believing!
If you think I'm a skeptic, meet my even more skeptical husband. He had a bee sting on his ring finger we thought had healed. But a week after the sting, he woke up in the middle of the night with the most severe itching. So he did what any other sane person would do - he scratched it ferociously - but to no avail. Frantic, he wakes me up and asks me for some oils! I'm like "finally! he's going to see how amazing these are!". So I dump probably more than I needed to on it and cover it with ice. But being the skeptic he is, he also opted for some benadryl. Blargh. Well who am I to deny the poor man in his time of need. So he settles down and we both fall back asleep. Next morning, his hand is crazy swollen, red, and HOT. So I tell him "that's infected!". So he takes another benadryl for the itching and relents to go to the doctor the next day if it wasn't better (which you know is bad if you know how often he doesn't go to the doctor). So I said, "okay, well lets just give you some Oregano and Onguard in a capsule and just see what happens. You never know.". And so he let me give him a dose. Which makes me feel like some crazy mad scientist! Muahahahaha! No joke - he comes home that night and all that's left is a little red itchy patch right at the spot of the sting. No swelling. No hot hand. Unreal. It was shocking. I have to admit, being fairly new to the oils at the time, I wasn't sure how well they'd work. So I was happy to be vindicated. The best part though was his first response... "maybe it was the benadryl...". Don't make me laugh! Nice try friend, but oils take the win on this one!
